I’m a Waterloo neighbour, just like you.
I’m a local Waterloo resident, community advocate and people-first leader. Like many families here, I care about the cost of living, property taxes, our roads, our neighbourhoods and the future of our city.
I’ve spent decades in professional leadership and have had the opportunity to travel around the world through my work. Those experiences have given me a broader perspective on what makes a city truly livable, connected and successful.
I believe Canada has been blessed with unmatched natural beauty and some of the most welcoming, caring people in the world. I love hiking and exploring that beauty, but some of my favourite moments are much simpler — sitting with neighbours, friends and family, having a good conversation, sharing a laugh or just having one of those random conversations where you learn something new from someone. I genuinely enjoy talking to people and learning from them.
I’m also a big hockey fan. For me, there are few things better than watching Team Canada play against anyone, anywhere.
WHY I’M RUNNING
And when I see something in our community that can be improved, I don’t believe in watching from the sidelines. I get involved, listen, and work toward a practical solution.
After travelling and seeing cities around the world, I believe Waterloo has everything it needs to become one of the most livable cities in the world. We just need to make smart decisions and keep moving in the right direction.
That’s why I’m running for City Council — to listen, get involved, solve problems and make sure residents get value for their tax dollars.
I’m looking to be your voice at City Hall.
